A lot of the information on this page is also duplicated in my project database. This is all part of the continuing merging of ProjectBored and the darknews pages. So, in short, some of the information in the project section will be missing from the code section and vice versa. Check them both out if you can. I'm working to put it all in the project section. My apologies.
These are some of the projects I've been hacking around on lately. Grab whatever you want. All of these are covered under the GPL except where noted. I'm slowly posting code for some of the Windows projects. But most Windows users don't even know what a compiler is, so to be quite frank, it's not a high priority.

This little GNOME applet checks the page http://www.caiso.com/SystemStatus.html every few minutes and makes a nifty little graph. Just untar and make, then make install. Based on the multiload_applet in the GNOME distribution.

This simple program, like hundreds of others, informs you when
Slashdot has been changed. It's still a work in progress, and I'm
working on adding pager and SMS support to it. PLEASE change the
e-mail address to your own! Needs lots of work to ease configuration.
Warning, the program uses James Clark's SP SGML parsing library, so
grab that first.
