Did you hear the one about that Mayor that tried to ban Satan from her town? Apparently, Satanosphere feels that other deities like Skeletor shouldn’t be left out. Ahh, gotta love that Florida entertainment.
What makes the perfect pub?
Found a great poem called The Perfect High by Shel Silverstein. Also, Uncle Shelby’s ABZ Book. And many more.
Found this site on AICN about Michael Moore’s latest movie. It’s about America…
As for a personal update. I agreee with a lot of liberal ideas. But the gun control one I just can’t get my head around. Shouldn’t the conservatives be in favor of that and vice-versa?
Sun’s done fucked up big time. Alienating Microsoft and the free software community in the same week? Smart.
We like big. There’s no denying that. Big cars. Big beef. It doesn’t matter, as long as it’s big. And of course, we’re stubborn. What I can’t believe is that we’re stupid. But if we don’t watch it, we might repeat the 80s. It’s funny, because we’re still shocked when others show us that size isn’t everything.
But this specific story does have a point. There’s a rising interest in the new Mini from BMW. Maybe you’ve seen the “Goliath Lost” billboards. If not, you probably won’t miss it’s appearance in the new Austin Powers movie, Goldmember (assuming they kick the MPAA’s ass in court.) This is going to be big.. or rather small.

As the son of a GM employee, actually Delphi Automotive, by writing this, I’ve probably been disowned by my family and the entire state of Michigan. But that tactic won’t work with the rest of the country. Let’s hope the executives at The Big Three remember their recent lesson, and give us some choice.
This man would destroy
all of this beautiful art.
Say it isn’t so.
Here’s an interesting poll. Read the intro first, then contribute, or just fuck shit up. It’s you call.
Just read this essay on racism, and I’ve been thinking a lot lately on our current issues w/ Afghanistan and Israel. We need some serious distribution of classic social psychology experiments such as the Robbers Cave experiment and Stanley Milgram’s classic study.
These are great sources of information on the dangers and power of groups and authority. They may not show the most pleasant side of human nature, but maybe by pointing that out they can help.
C’mon, even when you’re on the web, and nobody is looking?
