Dreamhack 2001, the world’s largest LAN party, is going on right now in Jonkoping, Sweden. As an aside, this used to be a demo party. A bunch of geeks getting together for several days and pushing the limits of their computers. Trying to squeeze as much as they could out of their wee little Commodore 64s. Now that we have GagoogleHertz(tm Intel) processors, they’re being overrun by nomadic tribes of LAN party gamers.
